At around 6 or 7 months old your puppy* starts going though their adolescent phase. This is a tough time for puppies as their hormones change, their brain goes a bit crazy and everything becomes a little bit scary. You may find that your cute cuddly puppy suddenly becomes a devil in disguise, their ears stop working, recall goes out the window and all that training you did suddenly gets forgotten.

Your dog needs to be supported through this phase, they aren't being disobedient, they simply are growing up and need you to show them how to be good dogs without punishing what you see as "bad manners".

*This class is also perfect for older dogs who have forgotten their manners!

Starting 22 April, this course will give you the tools and skills to develop a strong relationship with your pup, making sure you come out of the teen phase with a confident, calm and happy young dog.

• There are six weekly classes, each one approximately 1 hour long, held at various places around Rotorua and the surrounding suburbs. Your dog will learn to be calm and understand how to behave in all these locations.
• You will have access to LOTS of videos to support you and your dog with skills, such as learning their name, sit, down, stay, wait and helping your dog to be calm.
