Puppy Programme Description
This programme consists of four group lessons, one private session, a puppy play date and online support.

• Puppy classes means four one-hour weekly lessons that cover the essentials of owning a puppy.
• One on one session will be at a mutually convenient time and location.
• Puppy classes are aimed at anyone who has a puppy, whether new to dog ownership or experienced dog owner.
• Classes will be held at 167 Jackson Road, Hamurana, Rotorua or other suitable location.
• Class includes - General dog ownership, socialisation & exposure, handling and grooming, introduction to training.

Puppy Programme Class Checklist:

• Puppies must be over 8 weeks of age and have had at least one vaccination.
• Vaccination records must be sighted by Trained by Dog prior to the first week or private session (whichever is first). Scanned copy of the Vaccination record or veterinary records can be emailed to trainedbydog@gmail.com
• Puppies must be on a regular worming and flea treatment regime.

General Terms and Conditions for All Training:

• Payment for the course must be made in full either online, or if this is not possible, please contact trainedbydog@gmail.com to arrange sign up and make payment to the trained by dog account 01-0505-0438075-50 prior to the first session. No exceptions.
• During any group class or private session, there may be times when one or more dogs or puppies are off-leash during the class and participants understand that this setting is not without some risk of injury, that despite all dogs and puppies appearing healthy and being handled with the greatest amount of care and foresight, dogs and puppies are not always predictable and the unexpected may occur. Participants recognize that the benefits of such training are valuable to puppies, and accept the potential risks. Participants further agree to pay veterinary/medical expenses incurred as a result of injury to or caused by dogs or puppies.
• Participants agree that photographs of dogs and puppies may be taken and published by Trained by Dog on social media sites or for use in other advertising mediums.
• Participants understand that Trained by Dog will exercise all due diligence and care in the guardianship of dogs and puppies.
• Participants hereby waive and release Trained by Dog owner, employees and agents from all liability of any nature, for injury or damage, including that which may result from the action of any dogs and puppies, and expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while the dogs and puppys participate in any service of Trained by Dog.
• Participants understand that Trained by Dog or any trainer or agent for them are not to be held responsible for any injury or illness that may befall any puppy or dog.
• Participants acknowledge that Trained by Dog is not to be considered responsible for any infectious diseases contracted by any dog or puppy. The utmost care will be taken to ensure the environment is free from infectious diseases. Veterinary grade disinfectants will be used prior to all group puppy classes.
• Participants understand that for the Puppy Programme they must carry puppies into the Trained by Dog building. Participants understand that if they allow puppies to walk into the training facility, it does increase the risk of contracting a communicable or infectious disease.
• Participants understand that Trained by Dog cannot be held responsible for no progression with a dog or puppy. Participants agree that training at home must continue to be able to benefit fully from the course.
• Participants understand by purchasing this course they agree with all of the above.
• No refunds will be given for non attendance on courses.
